Indie Games Programming

Learn the fundamentals of game development in this 12-week hands-on course, using Unity and C# to design, build and bring your own bullet heaven game to life.

Course Overview

This 12-week short course invites you to jump into game development by building your own "bullet heaven" game in the style of Vampire Survivors. Designed for beginners, the course offers a hands-on introduction to the industry-standard Unity engine and C# programming language. Throughout the program, you will learn to create a fully controllable player character, implement system logic to handle massive hordes of pursuing enemies, and design dynamic power-up systems to upgrade player abilities. To bring your creation to life, you will also learn how to import visual assets and audio, giving you the creative freedom to wrap your game in either a sci-fi or fantasy theme.
